Self Employed Income Tax

If you receive income that has not had Pay as You Earn (PAYE) tax and/or
National Insurance (NI) deducted at source, you will be considered as self
employed for tax purposes
. Anyone who is self employed will need to submit a self employment tax return, which is done via an annual Self Assessment Personal Tax return.
